GM related work has been in hibernation recently, greatly due to a more steady work day weekly schedule, but also because I have been playing one of my oldskool favourites quite a lot: The Land.
In
a more recent feature I already delved into this game and illustrated its mark on the historical gaming ladder. Part of the obscurity of the game has come from its lack of documentation. Apart from a very limited helpfile, the game leaves the player quite in the dark. This was part of the registration strategy of its creator, Mark Riley. It seems it didn't work so well, as the manual that would have been received after registering is unfindable web-wise.
This has brought me to the point to start my very own FAQ file. It is quite extensive already and is, in full modesty, essential for finishing the game, since it provides for bug- and error workarounds.
